The Village of Munsey Park adopted a $1.97 million budget for the 2026 fiscal year during the Board of Trustee meeting last week, a plan defined by a frozen property tax levy and a strategic reallocation of infrastructure funds.
The finalized 2026-2027 budget, represents an overall spending decrease of approximately $78,000 compared to the previous year. For the second consecutive year, the village will hold the real property tax levy steady at about $1.3 million, fulfilling a commitment to avoid tax increases for local homeowners.
