Bomb threat reported at Council Member Althea Stevens’ Bronx office: NYPD

Council Member Althea Stevens’ office at 1377 Jerome Ave. in Mount Eden was hit with a bomb threat Tuesday afternoon, prompting a police response, according to authorities.

Police responded after receiving a 911 call around 2:30 p.m. about a threatening email, according to a police spokesperson. The building was evacuated as a precaution, according to reports, and no injuries were reported. The investigation as to the bomb threat remains ongoing.
