Mayor Adams names Jessica Tisch as NYPD Commissioner; Holden praises her as a ‘phenomenal choice’

New York City Mayor Eric Adams named Jessica Tisch as the new Commissioner of the NYPD on Wednesday, Nov. 20.

The appointment will be effective on Monday, Nov. 25, and Tisch will become only the second female to serve in the esteemed role.
