Bryan Hodge Vasquez announces candidacy for Bronx’s District 14 City Council seat

Community advocate Bryan Hodge Vasquez announced on July 26 that he will challenge incumbent Council Member Pierina Sanchez for the District 14 seat.

Sanchez was elected in 2022 for a term that runs through the end of 2025. With the municipal primary election about a year away, many candidates like Hodge Vasquez are planning now for what is sure to be a hot election cycle with all 51 council seats — plus the mayoralty — up for grabs.
