City officials evacuated the mega-migrant shelter at Floyd Bennett Field Tuesday afternoon amid safety concerns ahead of the arrival of a major coastal storm.
Some 1,900 migrants residing at the Marine Park shelter were removed from the facility due to an updated forecast, which is predicting increased wind speeds at over 70 miles per hour, heavy rain and possible flooding.
