Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso announced on Feb. 9 the opening of applications for the Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24) capital funding.

Each year, the New York City Charter allows each of the city’s five borough presidents to allocate capital funding to qualified projects as part of each year’s city budget process — including money to improve parks, streets, affordable housing projects, cultural institutions, hospitals, schools and other non profit organizations.

“We’ve got to get the word out that funding is available to our city agencies, public schools, nonprofits, and cultural institutions who have exciting projects in mind to benefit Brooklynites. The applications we receive help us understand Brooklyn’s priorities and needs.” said Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso.
