Congresswoman Meng selected for exclusive council to boost key legislation, ensure its passage in the House

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries appointed Queens Congresswoman Grace Meng to serve in the Regional Leadership Council as a liaison between the House and the White House on Feb. 1. She is one of 12 members of Congress serving on the Council.

The main purpose of this panel is to help promote and implement meaningful legislation. Each of the 12 members are responsible for different regions of the country. Meng will be responsible for the New York region.
