Incumbent Assemblyman Steve Englebright is paving his way back to Albany in this year’s election. For the past thirty years, Englebright has represented the 4th District and championed for change to better the lives of every New Yorker.
Englebright is running for reelection to continue the work he has started — advocating for the environment and putting climate change on everyone’s radar, working to stop gun violence, and repairing the damage done to reproductive rights. Englebright has a proven track record of enacting change, he is the author of the Green Amendment put into place in 2021 and has worked on the Environmental Bond Act which will be put to a vote on this year’s ballot.
He also leads the effort for the repaving of our roads, championing the repaving of the Long Island Expressway, and making New Yorkers’ commute a bit smoother.
