Mike Corbett, third-generation Teamster and lifelong resident of Murray Hill, is hoping to draw on his local roots to help him win the primary election on August 23rd. Mike can tell you a different story from every block of his neighborhood, and has also worked in Long Island City and Astoria — all now located in District 59. He hopes to nail down a balanced approach to public safety if and when he gets to Albany, focusing on comprehensive, wraparound services: violence prevention, job training, and mental health resources.
