James continues fight to protect Caribbean Dreamers

New York Attorney General Letitia James says she is continuing to lead the fight to protect hundreds of thousands of Caribbean and other Dreamers across New York and the rest of the United States.  

On Sept. 5, 2017, former United States President Donald J. Trump ordered an end to the Deferred Action on Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program that shields some young undocumented Caribbean and other immigrants —who often arrived at a very young age in circumstances beyond their control—from deportation.
