Trump adviser Bannon threatens Biden ‘regime’ while surrendering to FBI on Capitol riot probe charges

Flanked by black-clad bodyguards and making ominous comments about President Joe Biden, former President Donald Trump’s longtime adviser Steve Bannon surrendered to the FBI on Monday on criminal charges arising from his defiance of a congressional inquiry into the deadly Jan. 6 U.S. Capitol riot.

“We’re taking down the Biden regime,” Bannon told a throng of journalists as he arrived at an FBI field office in the U.S. capital, as a demonstrator standing behind him held up a sign that read “Coup Plotter.”
