The Bridge Multicultural Project Unites Caribbean and Jewish Communities

The Caribbean/Israeli Leadership Coalition (CILC) and The Bridge Multicultural and Advocacy Project completed a major “Unity in Action” event this week with a two-day conference, which attracted hundreds of participants as well as Caribbean Business and Religious Leaders from the Caribbean Islands.

CLIC President Bishop Andre Thomas opened the conference and welcomed the dignitaries from around the world who came to attend the conference. Thoms, in a passionate speech,  expressed great optimism of the huge opportunities available from the Israeli Government to assist the Caribbean Countries with technology, agriculture support, cybersecurity and developing housing construction opportunities. 

The Bridge Founder an President Mark Meyer Appel welcomed the assembled guests and expressed his excitement of joining this partnership with the CILC.

” This joint economic project will further enhance the mission of The Bridge in uniting our diverse communities,” said Meyer Appel in introducing the Israeli Economic Minister to North America, The Honorable Inon Eloy.

Apostle Pastor James Duncan, who organized the conference, proclaimed the project a huge success, in Israel helping the many Caribbean countries expand their exports and agricultural capacity. 

Ms. Cleautrice Smith, CEO of the Woow Empowerment Organization, and who traveled from Washington D.C. to New York to participate in this very notable CILC Conference commented, “I find it very important that nations and cultures can come together for a mutual effort, to bring peace and prosperity to every nation without bias or prejudice.”

“I believe that the partnership between “The Bridge” and CILC, as well as the State of Israel, will propel one another forward in a way that will not only set the standard for that nation or country but for the entire global economy that will bring all involved to greater wealth and prosperity,” she added. 

This conference will be followed by a major exhibition in September, where Israeli corporations and financial institutions will display and present specific economic funding and investment opportunities.

 While the Headquarters for the CILC is based in Barbados, the Bridge, 1894 Flatbush Avenue in Flatbush, will serve as headquarters for this project.
