Golden’s Summer Concerts Series Kicks Off Tomorrow Night

Bay Ridge State Senator Marty Golden, in partnership with the Southwest Brooklyn Parks Task Force, announced the complete lineup of summer concerts set to take stage in local parks this Summer.  The concert series kicks off tomorrow night, Tuesday, July 7 when Out Of The Blue play Shore Road Park at 79th Street.

The series of fifteen concerts will feature an array of musical acts including Head Over Heels, Carl Thomas, Generation Gap, Bobby Valli, and a special “Irish Night on Shore Road” featuring the Canny Brothers.

“I am excited to today announce the 2015 Summer concert series which I will again be hosting in our local parks.  We have a great lineup of entertainment, so mark your calendar, bring a chair, or a blanket, and make your way to the shows in our beautiful parks. I guarantee you will enjoy the entertainment that will feature classic rock, the greatest hits of all time, disco, dance and more,” said Golden.

July 21   Frankie Marra & His Band – Classic Rock at 79th St. & Shore Road
July 22   Maybe Monday – Marine Park’s Favorite Cover Band at Marine Park (Fillmore Ave.)
July 28   On A Good Run – Classic Rock at 79th St. & Shore Road
July 29   Witness – Oldies 50’s, 60’s, 70’s at Marine Park (Fillmore Ave.)
Aug. 5    Generation Gap – 60’s thru 90’s at Avenue U & Van Sicklen St.
Aug. 11  Carl Thomas – Sinatra Tribute & More at Dyker Park (86th St. & 14th Ave.)
Aug. 12  City Sounds – Oldies, Disco, Dance & More at Marine Park (Fillmore Ave.)
Aug. 18  Radio Daze – 70’s & 80’s Party Music at 79th St. & Shore Road
Aug. 19  New York Exceptions – Oldies 50’s to 70’s at Marine Park (Fillmore Ave.)
Aug. 25  The Bay Ridge St. Patrick’s Parade presents “Irish Night on Shore Road” featuring The “Canny Brothers”at 79th St. & Shore Road
