About 200 parents and kids from throughout Brooklyn came to eastern edge of Brooklyn in Canarsie Park, yesterday, to enjoy a day of sports and games as part of the 115th celebration of Brooklyn Day.

Among those on hand was Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, who kicked off the event and challenged the kids to an obstacle race, which he lost. Afterwards, he went around thanking the partners, including the Nets and Islanders.

Other officials involved in the day-long celebrations were State Senator John Sampson, Assembly Member Roxanne Persaud, and Council Member Alan Maisel.

Sponsors included Investors Bank, Panera Bread, Target, Shop Rite, Aviator Sports & Events Center, SKATEYOGI and Skate Brooklyn and the Brooklyn Cyclones.
