The Nets celebrate after Jarrett Jacks game-winning jumper.

Jarrett Jack‘s clutch jumper with 1.1 ticks left on the game clock won the game as the Brooklyn Nets bested the Golden State Warriors – the team with NBA’s best record – 110-108 last night at the Barclays Center.

Jack’s shot in the face of two Warriors hanging on him like shirts off a clothes line came following a furious Golden State rally behind superstar Stephen Curry’s 26 points, 18 of them coming in the final chapter.

The Nets, back home after a long road trip, featured strong ball movement and enough stops to lead the game throughout the evening before a sellout crowd.

Brook Lopez led the scoring for the Nets with 26 points while Deron Williams found the bottom of the rim for 22 points in a solid effort and newly acquired  Thaddeus Young contributed 14 points off the bench.

The win kept the Nets (25-33) in the eighth and final seed for the playoffs and hosting a key contest against Charlotte (24-33) tomorrow night at the thrilling Barclays Center.

The Nets, along with Miami, Charlotte, Indiana and Boston are all fighting for the last two playoff spots with a slim two games separating the five teams.
