Brooklyn Nets players Mason Plumlee, Jarrett Jack, and Sergey Karasev host 60 students from PS 130 in Kensington as part of the Wellness in the Schools (WITS) Coach for Kids Program.

The young students met with the players while competing in three fun activities geared towards promoting the importance of daily exercise: knockout, obstacle relay challenge, and power play partner battle.

PS 130 is the first school in Brooklyn to join the WITS Coach for Kids Program, which places trained WITS coaches on the recess yard to encourage children to stay active and to eliminate playground bullying.

This event is part of the Brooklyn Nets Assist program which stands to support four key pillars: Education, Athletics, Health & Wellness, and Community Development. Brooklyn Nets Assist is proudly presented by Baked In Brooklyn. Maimonides Medical Center is a supporting sponsor of Brooklyn Nets Assist.
