Gonzalo Duran is a United States Marine Corps veteran, nonprofit executive, and Bronx-based politician. He serves as chief executive officer of Devil Dog USA, a veteran and community nonprofit, and as editor-in-chief of the Big Apple Gazette. Duran is also vice chairman of the Bronx Conservative Party and district leader of the 79th Assembly District. A self-described moderate conservative, he has contributed to the passage of local laws and is currently advancing a national initiative for veterans, the Corporal Yegor Zubarev Veterans Bill. His work focuses on government transparency, fiscal responsibility, and a platform aimed at countering socialism across NYC.
