A lifelong Democratic resident of Hunts Point with Puerto Rican/Dominican Catholic heritage, attended Mount Saint Michael and Cardinal Hayes, earned an EMBA in healthcare administration (Baruch), and holds a psychology/sociology degree (City College). He began his 15+ years in health care as security at NY-Presbyterian and became director of energy management/engineering for the Mount Sinai Health System, where he managed NYC’s complexities/politics related to LL97. He served as an NYPD auxiliary, precinct council, AEE-NY president, and numerous professional associations, mentoring young professionals and sharing his path/insights. He aims to uplift the district, making it a safe/desirable place for families to stay/thrive.
