Yiatin Chu (R)

Candidate Site

Yiatin is an outspoken advocate for common sense policies including supporting law and order, merit-based education, and property owner rights.

Yiatin co-founded and leads two grassroot organizations: PLACE NYC, a parent volunteer group advocating for high quality public education, and Asian Wave Alliance, a nonpartisan political club to encourage Asian voter participation. In October 2023, Yiatin was honored as one of 49 “The Most Powerful People You Never Heard Of” by New York Magazine.

Yiatin immigrated to New York City at age eight. She graduated from the Bronx High School of Science, holds a B.A. from Binghamton, SUNY and an M.B.A.. from Boston University
