Yi Andy Chen is a product of the community and a dynamic symbol of public service and leadership rooted in the interest of the people, by the people, and for the people. Andy is an immigrant who emigrated to Queens, New York at the age of 13, growing up in a working class family and is a proud product of New York City’s public school systems and CUNY. Andy is a successful small business owner and nonprofit leader who has served as an auxiliary police officer and was appointed to the Asian Advisory Council of the District Attorney, Queens.
