Candidate: New York State Senate / District 07

Brad Schwartz (WF)

Candidate Site

Brad Schwartz is a former Emmy award-winning TV producer and editor who has worked on multiple hit shows. After battling a health condition for a decade, Brad transitioned from media into public policy, obtaining a double master’s degree and a doctoral scholarship from Johns Hopkins University.

He uses his media and policy knowledge to guide his decision-making, focusing on combating disinformation. Brad is the first openly LGBTQ+ candidate running for State Senate from Long Island. He is committed to prioritizing policies that promote community well-being over political rhetoric.

Republicans Jake Blumencranz (Top L.), Jeanine Driscoll (Top R.), David Hassid (Bottom L.) and Paolo Pironi (Bottom R.) are running for Congress and State Senate seats.
