A Queens native from a Puerto Rican–Colombian family, Kristen Gonzalez believes all working families deserve a dignified life. She has more than ten years of experience in government and a record of organizing for public land, internet, and climate justice. She has passed the Build Public Renewables Act, fought the closure of Mount Sinai Beth Israel, won stronger tenant protections, safer streets, and data protections for those seeking abortions. She’s endorsed by the Working Families Party, labor unions, and elected officials across the city. Kristen is a new voice in Albany fighting for housing, health care, and fully-funded communities.
