Brad Hoylman-Sigal has spent the last decade fighting in the State Senate for a more affordable, safe, and fair New York. He has passed 363 bills focusing on a range of issues, including protecting tenants, cracking down on dangerous e-bikes, securing mental health funding, eliminating illegal guns, and fighting bias crimes.

As Borough President, Brad will bring this same energy and effectiveness to tackle the toughest quality-of-life challenges for Manhattanites. Brad lives in Greenwich Village with his husband David and young daughters, Silvia and Lucy. Brad would make history as the first openly-LGBTQ borough or city-wide elected official in NYC.
