Ben Yee is a lifelong New Yorker, civic technologist, and son of a Chinese father and a Jewish immigrant mother whose family survived the Holocaust. For 20 years, he has organized to open closed political systems. As a State Committee member, he passed more reforms than any member in a decade. Ben is running to move past “band-aid” fixes and address the root causes of problems that hurt New Yorkers, like the affordability, healthcare, and climate crises. He plans to transform the Assembly seat into a hub for community activism and civic engagement.
