Lilah Mejia is a lifelong Lower East Side resident, community organizer and mother of six. With over 20 years of experience, she has led efforts to protect tenants, support public schools and respond to community crises. She helped secure $350 million for East Side Coastal Resiliency, brought community fridges and pantries into District 1 schools and led relief efforts after Hurricane Maria. Lilah is running for State Assembly to bring community-driven leadership to Albany and fight for working families.
