Jasmin Sanchez (D)

Candidate Site

Jasmin Sanchez is a lifelong Lower East Sider and NYCHA resident running to represent District 65 in the NYS Assembly. She is a graduate student at the CUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies and her professional career includes many advocacy and electoral victories, including organizing neighbors around the future of East River Park, working with local nonprofits to expand youth services and educational access, and serving as the Bronx Lead for AOC’s historic 2018 victory, where she helped draft the Green New Deal for Public Housing with AOC and Bernie Sanders.
