A former asylum seeker, he has dedicated his career to advocating for immigrant rights, housing justice, and inclusive policies that uplift all New Yorkers. As the founder of Refuge America, Edafe has worked to create lasting change for marginalized communities, ensuring access to affordable housing, safer streets, and stronger families. His campaign is committed to building a more just, equitable, and welcoming city for all.
