Ricardo Pacheco is an independent-minded Democrat running for New York City Council District 25. A homeowner and resident of Jackson Heights, Pacheco has a proven record of service to his country, city and community. He is an immigrant who came to this country as a young boy, and worked hard to achieve a better life. He is a product of the New York City public school system, a former U.S. marine, and a retired NYPD sergeant, who also served as former PTA President at IS 145, president of his co-op board for seven years, and president of the SELFHELP/NORC Advisory Board. He is a father of one daughter and grandfather of three, and a volunteer with a local food pantry.
