Jacob Mnookin is the Founder and Executive Director of Coney Island Prep. He opened Coney Island Prep in 2009, after completing a Fellowship with Building Excellent Schools. Mnookin began his career as a professional educator at Arts High School in Newark, New Jersey, and then went on to earn a Masters in Public Affairs from Princeton’s Woodrow Wilson School.
