Alicka Ampry-Samuel

Behind her trademark glasses Alicka has seen the hands of injustice cover the mouths of her beloved Brownsville neighbors, prompting her to focus on a lifetime career of community advocacy and organizing. A graduate of North Carolina A&T State University and CUNY School of Law, she has had a successful career travelling the world working on international politics, international development and human rights abuses. A former District Leader within the 55th Assembly District, Alicka has returned to local politics serving as the Chief of Staff to Assemblywoman Latrice M. Walker, within the 55th Assembly District.
