On Thursday, April 9, Council Member Phil Wong announced his office’s annual Helmet Giveaway, marking its return to Juniper Valley Park in Middle Village on Saturday, June 27, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
In partnership with the New York City Department of Transportation (NYC DOT) and Ridgewood Rides, a grassroots cycling group based in Ridgewood, the event focuses on promoting bike safety for children and families in District 30.
