U.S. Navy officially launches $46 million facility at Bethpage Grumman site for plume restoration

The U.S. Navy has launched a new $46 million facility at the former Northrop Grumman site in Bethpage as part of its groundwater plume restoration effort.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Tuesday, March 31, at the new facility on Union Avenue in Bethpage, signaling the near-completion of the Phase II Groundwater Treatment Plant as part of the cleanup of the former Naval Weapons Industrial Reserve Plant at the site.
