Hochul announces $58M for road resurfacing on Long Island

The pesky potholes plaguing New York’s state highways are now getting fixed, according to Gov. Kathy Hochul, who announced this week a roadwork investment of more than $600 million for 180 paving projects. The plan includes $58 million for paving work on Long Island.

Hochul’s statewide effort to fill potholes and repave roads comes on the heels of a brutal winter that wreaked havoc on New York’s roads.
