New York City FC (NYCFC) installed the final steel beam at Etihad Park in Willets Point on Wednesday morning as part of a topping-out ceremony for the first soccer-specific stadium in the city’s history.
The stadium, located across the street from the Citi Field bullpen, is slated to open for the start of the 2027/28 MLS season in August 2027.
