A measure requiring serial “Super Speeders” to install speed-limiter technology in their vehicles was included by Democratic state Senate leadership in their budget proposal for the coming fiscal year, following Gov. Kathy Hochul introduction of similar legislation in her own fiscal plan earlier this year.
Upper chamber lawmakers baked the so-called “Stop Super Speeders Act” into their “one-house” Fiscal Year 2027 budget resolution released this week — but Assembly Democratic leadership did not include the bill in its one-house plan.
