The Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) on Thursday, Mar. 6, sent a letter to President Donald Trump demanding that the administration cease all operations created to disenfranchise and displace Black immigrant communities across the United States.
CBC Chair Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke, the daughter of Jamaican immigrants, who represents the 9th Congressional District in Brooklyn, said that the letter comes “amid scrutiny from lawmakers and community advocates that the administration has continually singled out Black immigrant communities in its harmful agenda.”
