Queens County Supreme Court Judge Cassandra Johnson has secured the Democratic nomination for the Queens County Surrogate’s Court judgeship, defeating New York City Civil Court Judge Wendy Li with approximately 54% of the vote.
With over 98% of votes counted, Johnson, a Far Rockaway native, emerged victorious in the closely watched primary.
