State Senator Joe Addabbo has unfinished business in Albany, which is why he’ll be on the ballot for re-election on November 8. The Democratic senator from Queens is looking to continue working with small businesses to foster economic opportunity in District 15. Addabbo also has over 20 years of experience working with local law enforcement officials — relationships that become all the more important with the recent increases in hate crimes and gun violence. Issues of education and the environment remain top of mind as well, especially considering the flooding that District 15 has been enduring more regularly. With all this on his plate, it’s a good thing that Addabbo is, to use his words, a “full-time State Senator” (and not, say, a cartoonist!).
