Suraj Patel spoke with PoliticsNY about his campaign to represent Manhattan in the 12th congressional district. Moderated by Jane Hanson and Stephen Witt, the winner will be decided in the upcoming August 23rd Democratic primary election, and without a Republican challenger, will most likely win the seat.
The district’s neighborhoods are: The Upper East Side, Yorkville, Upper West Side, Lincoln Square, Hell’s Kitchen, Midtown, Turtle Bay, Hudson Yards, Murray Hill, Kips Bay, Flatiron, Chelsea and Tudor City.
