Meet Otis Danne, Jr., a first-time candidate for Assembly District 58 in the Flatbush area of Brooklyn. Otis is a school administrator at a public charter school and a working-class citizen who wants to run to increase visibility and representation for working-class people in public office. The first thing he would tackle in the Assembly would be education; Otis wants to implement education reform to make the system more accessible and equitable for people with disabilities. In his free time, Otis enjoys playing the guitar and cooking.
