As President of Nontraditional Employment for Women (NEW), Kathleen Culhane is responsible for overseeing the training, placement, and support of women in the skilled building trades of New York City. The pandemic didn’t slow these women down; they served their communities throughout the shutdown, reinforcing and expanding hospitals and participating in trainings virtually. Kathleen continues to forge new paths (pardon the pun) forward, including a young women’s initiative and a green economy network.
