PoliticsNY with Skye: Behind the Curtain – Ep. 36 – Linda Beigel Schulman, Scott J. Beigel Memorial Fund

By Skye Ostreicher Posted on October 4, 2021

Welcome to PoliticsNY with Skye: Behind the Curtain – Ep. 36, the show that takes you backstage, behind the scenes of NY’s biggest production: government.

In this unique episode, we speak with Linda Schulman, a Long Island mom and gun violence prevention advocate. Her son Scott J. Beigel was killed in the Parkland shooting in Florida in 2018. Hear the devastating story, told by his mom, about discovering her son was murdered, and how Linda and her family have turned the beat around to celebrate Scott’s life and legacy, as well as her work alongside our elected officials to become a gun violence prevention advocate.
