Representative Carolyn Maloney (D-Upper East Side) and Assemblyman Dan Quart (D-Upper East Side, Midtown East) recently hosted Manhattan’s annual St. Patrick’s Day breakfast for the second year in a row.
The breakfast was held at the Lexington Democratic Club, one of New York’s largest and most renowned political clubhouses. The venue was packed, as over 250 guests and a bevy of electeds – including NYC Comptroller Scott Stringer (D), Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer (D), Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. (D), and Representative Adriano Espaillat (D-Washington Heights, Sugar Hill) – showed up to dig in.
Democratic District Leader Jake Dilemani, who co-hosts the event, said that the breakfast is, above all else, about bringing New Yorkers from all different backgrounds together.
“The annual St. Patrick’s Day breakfast is about Democrats, as well as civic-minded New Yorkers of all stripes, coming together in unity to celebrate the rich cultural and political heritage of the Irish in New York, to recognize the hard work of our colleagues in politics and public service, and simply to have a good time,” said Dilemani.
