This week Stephen Witt, Kelly Mena and Tom Russotti talk about the ongoing Kings County Politics investigation into the city’s Third Party Transfer Program, a.k.a. TPT, under the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) that last year seized more than 60 homes across Brooklyn, particularly among Black and Latino homeowners. The seizures and the program is worrying many longtime residents, who have lost their generational wealth to a NYC housing program they say is targeting homes in gentrifying Brooklyn.
