Kings County Politics today named Kadia Goba Editor-At-Large. The title goes along with her role as a senior reporter.
“Kadia started at KCP in April 2017, and quickly rose through our ranks becoming our ace reporter,” said KCP Founder/Publisher Stephen Witt. “She has a unbelievable nose for news and has proven herself as a tenacious writer and reporter. Kadia has been a great attribute to our growing company and we feel blessed to have her.”
Ms Goba’s main beat has been the Bay Ridge area, where she has covered and continues to cover several important city, state and federal elections as well as policy and general government issues affecting this neighborhood and adjacent Southern Brooklyn neighborhoods. She has also taken the lead in numerous spot news stories and issues around the borough including, but not limited to public housing (NYCHA), education, heath, private housing, gentrification and business issues related to government. She also has covered stories out of city hall such as the recent City Council Speaker’s Race and throughout the borough related to the city council and mayor’s office.
As editor-at-large, Ms. Goba will see an expanded editorial role of helping traffic stories to KCP’s growing network of reporters.
Viewers with story ideas are welcome to pitch Kadia at Kgoba@KingsCountyPolitics.com. Pitches are also welcome to KCP Senior Editor Kelly Mena at Kmena@KingsCountyPolitics.com and Stephen Witt at StephenWitt@KingsCountyPolitics.com.
