As it is every year, Kings County Democratic Party Chair Frank Seddio‘s Canarsie Annual Holiday lighting display yesterday was a festive treat for the many hundreds of neighborhood people and elected officials with their children in tow who came to enjoy the early winter night.

This magnificent collage of lights, animated figures and talking animatronics has been a Brooklyn tradition since 1963 attracting visitors from around the borough and the city. Seddio is a lifelong Canarsie resident, former NYPD cop and state assembly member as well as a local attorney and community activist. The lighting takes place at Seddio’s Law Office, which was also at one time the Seddio Family home.
