Kings County Politics and its Editor-In Chief Stephen Witt, in partnership with What’s The 411, is conducting interviews with candidates from Brooklyn leading up to the Sept. 13 Primaries, this year’s National and State elections and next year’s City elections.
One of the more interesting state races coming up is the Sept. 13 Democratic Primary for the 19th Senate District position. The district also is one of the most diverse in Brooklyn encompassing Canarsie, East New York, Mill Basin, Bergen Beach and small parts of Brownsville, Sheepshead Bay and Marine Park.
The candidates are incumbent Sen. Roxanne Persaud and longtime Canarsie political activistMercedes Narcisse.
