Bay Ridge City Council Member Vincent Gentile, who for years has been fielding calls about the nightmarish ridership experience on the R train, has put out an entertaining trailer and video in which he is the star documenting the R train experience.
The short under three minute film is also in advance of a rally for improved R train service he is holding with newly elected Assemblywoman Pam Harris (Coney Island, Bay Ridge), the Riders Alliance, the Straphangers Campaign and R train riders —dubbed “warriors” by Gentile.
The rally is slated for 8 a.m., Friday, Dec. 11 outside the 77th Street R Station (4th Avenue) in Bay Ridge.
