Flatbush Congresswoman Yvette Clarke, last week, accompanied President Barack Obama on his Caribbean trip to Jamaica and the Summit of the Americas in Panama.
“What an honor and a privilege it was to accompany President Obama and his White House Team to the Island Nation of Jamaica,” said Clarke. “My objective in accompanying the President was to represent my constituents in the Ninth Congressional District who are of Jamaican decent like myself and other Caribbean Small Island States to highlight their concerns about the strengthening of the United States / Caribbean ties and pursue a pathway for low-cost energy and prosperity through investment in the region.”
