Ebola Town Hall Meeting

Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams will host a town hall meeting at 6 pm, Wednesday, Oct. 22 at Borough Hall, 209 Joralemon Street to address local concerns about the potential local impact of Ebola or Enterovirus D68, two viruses that have caused fear nationwide in recent weeks, with at least one confirmed death related to each disease.

Professor Mordecai Goldfeder, senior health and medical planner at the New York City Office of Emergency Management will moderate a panel on the subject including ll include experts from the Brooklyn Hospital Center, Centers for Disease Control, Doctors Council SEIU, New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation, and New York City Department of Mental Health and Hygiene.

Borough President Adams and others will address the facts on Ebola and Enterovirus D68 and answer questions from the community.
